{"id":2750,"date":"2014-02-25T22:43:48","date_gmt":"2014-02-25T22:43:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pushthelimit.com\/wp\/?p=2750"},"modified":"2018-08-09T01:06:25","modified_gmt":"2018-08-09T01:06:25","slug":"liking-its-not-enough","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pushthelimit.com\/wp\/2014\/02\/25\/liking-its-not-enough\/","title":{"rendered":"making choices makes you powerful"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While there are many challenges to living a happy and contented life, I\u2019d say without reservation that confusion among the concepts of <i>LIKING<\/i>, <i>WANTING<\/i> and <i>CHOOSING<\/i> is responsible for a disproportionately huge amount of human misery &amp; frustration. So here is my attempt to reduce some of that suffering by eliminating its cause.<\/p>\n<p><i>LIKING<\/i> is <b>not<\/b> the same thing as <i>CHOOSING<\/i>! They are 2 completely different concepts!<\/p>\n<p><i>LIKING<\/i> is akin to wishing, or even hoping, and it is strictly emotional. While <i>CHOOSING<\/i> may <i>begin<\/i> with wishing or hoping, it always <i>concludes<\/i> in physical action that is proof of the choice you\u2019ve made.
