Which means that you are <strong><em>not <\/em><\/strong>powerless.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What causes many to hesitate is the doubt that self-discipline may not \u201cwork\u201d. Good thing it doesn&#8217;t really matter!\u00a0Because if your first choice didn\u2019t work out as you wished, you have the power to make <em>others <\/em>that will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The whole point of self-discipline is that <strong><em>you\u2019re the one making the choice<\/em><\/strong>. Whatever the outcome is &#8211; good or bad &#8211; is not really the point. The point is that <strong><em>you <\/em><\/strong>made the choice &#8211; nobody else did it for you. And that means <strong><em>you have the power<\/em><\/strong> and the freedom to make your own choices.
